Dao Phuong Lan earned her Engineering Degree in Chemistry from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, where she specialized in pharmaceutical chemistry. She then shifted her academic focus toward physical chemistry and materials science by joining the Erasmus Mundus SERP+ Master’s Program at Université Paris-Saclay, supported by the IDEX Paris-Saclay scholarship. During her M1 internship at ICMMO, she worked on materials science research involving the fabrication and physicochemical characterization of TiO₂ thin films. Currently, she is completing her M2 internship on the project “Dynamic Stabilization in Light-Responsive Colloidal Assemblies” under the supervision of Prof. Cyrille Hamon and Prof. Marianne Impéror-Clerc, where she explores light-controlled colloidal self-assembly using photoswitchable surfactants to dynamically and reversibly tune interparticle interactions, enabling the formation of reconfigurable nanostructures with tailored optical and plasmonic responses. Her research interests lie at the intersection of chemistry and nanomaterials, particularly focusing on plasmonics, light-driven self-assembly, photochemistry, and the design of adaptive, out-of-equilibrium colloidal metamaterials with tunable structural and optical properties. |
